What Is The Affordable Connectivity Program

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the internet they need for work, school, healthcare and more.

The benefit provides one discount per month toward internet service for eligible households, and a one-time discount to purchase a tablet from participating providers, such as Maxsip, if you contribute toward the purchase price. ACP is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.

You are eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program, FREE Internet if you have one of the following:
  • SNAP
  • Medicaid
  • SSI
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance
  • Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit Fund
  • Lifeline
  • If the household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
